Fashion Editorials & Look Books

When asked what my favorite thing to shoot is, I always respond that fashion photography is my true passion. From mood board inspiration to concept development, wardrobe selection, hair and makeup styling, location scouting, and model casting to finding someone who embodies the spirit of the fashion design, every step is meticulously planned. The final images are curated into a cohesive series by a team of creatives who love collaborating with the goal of being published in print or online. There is nothing more fulfilling than seeing your name credited for an editorial, and the images themselves often stand alone as works of art. I am proud to say my body of work reflects this.

A COLLABORATION WITH ARTIST C.H.

MATERIAL ART

Our concept, and what we were both interested in exploring, was wearable, material art. Cara’s brainchild was more specifically the images with plastic manipulation and body contortion, which were more about form. The identity of plastic discusses a foreign medium, one of flexibility and translucency yet suffocation. The body as mannequin, the skin as brand, the material as package.

For myself, I wanted to take a simple object and make it special. I designed the set and lighting to highlight the textures of these various materials, paying close attention to shadows and the shapes they form. My goal was to capture body movements within the confines of the material art.
